I will go to my neighbour and do handshake while asking his wifi password, I think that’s easier 😂

I really like the idea of using a pinephone as a daily driver. There is so much potential in using a full fledged Linux OS on your phone that allows for features that iOS and Android are lacking in. Being able to plug my phone into a dock and use it like a linux desktop with all the available commands and features would be both powerful and convenient.

When people say they are hackers: * downloads hack program and hits start *

Wow that was such a smart statement saying "this phone runs on Linux". All Android phones run on Android, which was originally created using linux's kernel.

Everyone knows that Spiderman is a weak AF password. Superman FTW.

Done this back in 2015 on nexus phones, 5 and 6 with nethunter... was fun, especially back then when wifi security was bad...still is.

Handshake if all you heard is 'handshake' and 'Spiderman' 🤝

The coolest things I’ve seen similar devices embedded in for covert surveillance was: a thermostat (drawing power off the hvac system), power bricks for printers, and the most amazing piece of small electronics was a cover plate on an electrical outlet running off a very small full bridge rectifier and buck converter to power a SOC Linux system.

What ever happened to the few WAP/firewalls that used to support VPN internally between the WAP and the Wifi clients? Seems like that was a good idea, too bad that didnt become more popular...

Maybe mention that you need other people on the wifi that you are attacking else you will not be able to capture the reauthorization handshake.

Imagine running powerful webserver on your phone. Low cost, low maintenance, low electric bill. Paying cloud become expensive nowadays..

I get an alert on my phone every time a new device connects to the network. Not a device I know? I block it off.

Thanks for showing it.
Would be interesting to see, how it would react, if the password were 16-20 symbols.

pro password tips add spaces at the ends and start they are usually ignored after cracking as they are literally invisible
Edit : not sure but if emojis are interpreted as alphanumeric then
"😂😂" is an indestructible password

Everyone should do this. Block all new connections to your network. You can do that little programming. Well you have to know programming though

😱🤯 David! Why you gotta scare me like that! Now I need to change all my passwords...and possibly take down all my WAPs.
