Not 1, 000 years ago lady, Morocco had legal slavery until 1950, Egypt from 641 AD to 1900 slavery was legal Under the Rashidun Caliphate, It was the British that put pressure on them to make it illegal, The kingdoms of Dahomey and Ashanti, King Gezo said " The Slave trade is the Ruling principle of my people, It's the source and glory of their wealth" That's messed up, now Ottoman Algeria wasn't even thousands of years ago either, 1518-1830, what about Kanem Bornu or Kingdom of Allada, This lady really doesn't know her history

From the mid 1500s to the mid 1800s there were about 11 million slaves taken from Africa. Of that 11 million 390k ended up in what is now the US. Where did the 10.5 million end up? South America, mainly Brazil, Central America and the Caribbean Islands. Slaves died in South and Central America due to the harsh conditions they endured on sugar cane plantations requiring the slave traders to replace them.

It seems like what she's saying is "slavery wasn't so bad way back then, because most of the slaves were white". So I guess if someone was to force her to be a slave, she would be okay with that.

Working and getting paid and being called a slave is different to being chained up, whipped stripped of clothing and being forced to rowing the boat to the plants where you gonna be slave for rest of your-life….

There is also the country of Liberia which the U.S. established to move American Blacks into after U.S. slavery was over and some American Blacks did move overthere and when they did they entered into a war with the Indigenous Liberians. American Blacks conquered a lot of the Indigenous Liberians and made them slaves and Liberia has been at war ever since
