He only did 4 months for having the most horrific images a human could have, then he continued to offend. The justice system isn't sending a strong enough message to these predators and they get away with way too much. It's infuriating

I’m such a documentary junkie, I’ve seen the one on Jimmy Saville. He was so vile! Every time I hear that Gary glitter song, it makes me cringe. I was so upset when he went to Thailand. That’s where my husband is from and I just think of our niece over there or her children and someone like him, and it just makes me sick. I always wondered what happened to Gary. Thanks for covering this and I’m so glad to know he’s not free. 🙏🏻💕

Oh my gosh Chris! I am so glad you gave us an update on Gary Glitter. Not just for us who lived his time frame of diabolical depravity, but those who did not. So glad he is behind bars again. Thank you!

Thank you for another fantastic true crime recap. I’m from the U.K. and these were “Stars” from my childhood who are the worse of the worse. Jimmy Saville didn’t only keep his abuse to the living but as he was seen as such a huge celeb of his time he had free reign to do what ever he wanted, including visiting morgues. It is just a shame he wasn’t accountable for his depravities when he was alive. So many child’s wanted to be on the Jim Will Fix It Show, but it was a blessing to all those who wasn’t able to go on it.

Hi Chris, hi Amy.
As a teenager in the 1970s. One of the highlights of my week was watching Top of the Pops on BBC. I was never a Gary Glitter fan, I always considered him a weirdo. When I would hear him sing "Do you want to be in my gang" I would immediately think to myself. No way. I was into Don McLean and James Taylor and the like. As for Jimmy Savile. I can say. I always thought he was a creepy, individual. Years later I found out why I felt that way, but. Isn't it interesting and disturbing. They both felt their fame entitled them too immunity from moral conduct, and the law? Sad to say, there are still so many like them. Best regards to you both from the Republic of Ireland. 🇮🇪

Gary Glitter was never an angel. He creeped me out worse than Jimmy savile back in the day.

I have been watching TCR for a few years now & I am thrilled that more people are catching on, they have such a lovely manner & are so watchable, they have all the salient points & don't dumb it down. Still my fav, keep them coming!

I met Paul Gadd (or Gary Glitter, as he was then), many years ago. He gave me creepy vibes even 40 years ago. Thanks for the recap ❤❤❤

I went to a Gary Glitter gig in the early 1990's in Manchester as a Xmas work party & you know when they ask all the men to sing & then the women? Well he asked all the girls under 18 to stand up and wiggle their boobs! This was before we all knew what he was. Also Jimmy Saville raised loads of money for a children's hospital called Stoke Mandeville, but the weird thing was that he had his own bedroom at the hospital & for some reason people thought that was OK, it later came out that he abused many sick children at that same hospital, you really couldn't make it up.

Took such a long time to get justice. I'm the uk and grew up in the 80s watching theses people thinking they were idols on tv before the truth came out. Thanks for the recaps. ❤

Another awesome video, great work Amy and Chris 😁

Gary Glitter was a truly evil and utterly depraved sicko. You guys should do a video on Jimmy Saville, possibly the most debased psychopathic child abuser to walk the British Isles.

Chris you are too generous. He was never as big as Bowie. Infact, he was kinda corny. But my goodness, he sure was the biggest POS wasn't he?
