I can’t not describe how ominous it was to be doing math homework just now and then looking to my IPad to see the notification “run. now.”

ω-3 (Omega-3, pun based off the fish oil-based vitamin) is the in-universe band behind not only Fishing Frenzy 2 (the one that plays during waves like Mothership, Gushers and Mudmouths), but also the rest of the Salmon Run music! The remixed Clickbait (the song from normal battles) is also a ω-3 collaboration! The band doesn’t get along well, and their percussist has poked their eye out many times while playing their instrument. They are well-known for their prominent use of the cello, which you can hear a lot in Salmon Run music. ω-3 my beloved ❤️

Other ω-3 songs are Fishing Frenzy (from Splatoon 2, also plays in Fog, Griller and Glowfly/Rush waves) Frantic Aspic (the regular wave music that plays during a wildcard Grizzco weapon rotation) and Deluge Dirge (the regular wave, regular rotation music. DUN DUN DUN DUN—)

A quick headcannon I had: little chatty is a smallfry with the souls of every single chat member in failboats streams within him so if he died like a thousand souls would just pour out of him

I love how Wahoo World was immediately back in rotation after Big Run ended (albeit in Turf War), drilling it in for whoever seriously thought they'd shut down one of their maps.

After hearing your shirt joke (regardless of it being an ad transition) I can't help but imagine a potential Final Fest where the first half is _postponed_ for an impromptu Big Run, except each of the 3 teams have to defend a different map, and the end of this "Final Run" leading straight into the halftime report for the Splatfest proper
