A Brief History of Canola Oil (it’s toxic)
Показать описание
The history of canola oil might shock you 🤯🤢
When your grandparents were young, they didn’t eat canola oil. Why? Because they were putting it in their trucks, not on their plates.
Quite possibly the worst part about canola oil that we eat today is that over 90% is all genetically modified to withstand toxic glyphosate - otherwise known as Round-Up.
This Round-Up Ready Canola is patented by none other than Bayer-Monsanto, the creators of glyphosate.
If it seems like there’s some sketchy stuff going on behind the scenes, you’re probably right.
Although there is some evidence showing that canola oil may have potential health benefits in population-based studies, we mustn’t get so science-bound that we lose the greater historical perspective of human nutrition.
If we need a highly industrialized oil in our diet just to be healthy, should we not begin to question if that is the appropriate diet for our species?
As always, keep your nutrition simple - as it always has been.
Eat local, in-season foods to the best of your abilities. And rest assured, if you’re going out to eat at a restaurant, they’re cooking your food in canola oil.r
