I don't think that ping pong robot is real. The reason being that the footage of it is stop motion animation. The people at the top of the video have fluid movement but the robot does not. It looks like bad stop motion from the 80's in movies like Terminator or Robocop. There's no possible way to get that look a robot were actually moving because it's a side effect missing frames in the animation. Animators can add motion blur to try to cover it but you know it's impossible for an object to move from point A to point B without actually traveling the space between those points. When that space isn't traveled it creates the stop motion effect.

That robot arm isn't actually moving, it's being animated into the shot.
