Explanation: The kid, Glam (Real name Sebastian) is raised into a perfectionist rich family, and was raised to excel in everything - especially in playing musical instruments. He would get slapped on his wrist with a ruler if he did anything even slightly bad. In secret, he creates a small scale of the city which he hides under the floorboards.

He eventually meets this guy called Chive, who opened Glam's eyes to new music and instruments. Glam would sneak out every night to play in a band with Chive, which was what he loved doing - which is why he was smiling in the second scene (as well as the fact that he has bags under his eyes from sneaking out all night). My memory's a little hazy, but I think Glam went out one night because his band was supposed to play with another very popular band that they all looked up to, so he got his sister to cover for him by bribing her. When he came back home, he saw that his sister had a bruise and his small recreation of the city was thrown in the trash. This was because he forgot to hide it properly before he left. In the last scene, it was him walking away from home while his father screamed at him to come back or never show his face again - something like that.

To those who don’t know, this is an indie production here on YouTube called “Metal Family”! For context, the character in the video is Glam or Sebastian. He was raised in an abusive household and forced to play the violin, he’s smacked on the wrist with a ruler when he makes a mistake. He’s smiling like that because he started running away at night to play rock music with his friend Chive, allowing him to be happy and have something to finally look forward to. He finally runs away after his dad catches him coming home from one of his trips out, learning his sister was forced to tell about where he was going. His dad also enjoys a model he made of the city, one of the only fun things he was able to look forward to before joining Chive, so he leaves and we don’t know where he went after that but my guess is that he stayed with Chive.
