A forty minute set containing thirty three vinyl recordings of classic Disco, Funk and Breakbeats.

I hope you enjoy my DJ mix using vinyl records from 1974-1979. No heavy cutting and scratching, just good music.

I got the title idea from Ted Taylor’s 1977 record ‘Ghetto Disco”. Even though I didn’t use the song, most of the tracks here were either cut up or manually looped by urban DJ’s in the early days of Hip Hop at Bronx/Brooklyn discotheques.

These youngins today don’t know about this realness!! Probably have no idea this what literally created hiphop/rap.
