Just an fyi. I have to use a rinseless shampoo for my invalid mother. I use a spray bottle with water to wet her hair. Then use the shampoo like you would a regular shampoo. When I'm done with that, I just rub her hair with a towel. Works so well. Her hair looks and smells clean.
