Holy hoppin'-chain there!!! Frickin' wow!! Why do you suspect these OEM 2511 b&c setups bounce so badly? I never used the 14" that came w/ mine as I try selling Echo b&c's if I can't get powerhead-only, but I did throw an Echo 12" bar (from old polesaw) on it with the most generic 12" chain from walmart and have only had the most minimal chattering (I mean, basically what I'd gotten from my prior 25cc, a zenoah g2500 clone, especially once modded you really gotta focus to keep the chain 'in the cut' instead of it bouncing, but everyone knows that & there's no question that the 2 odd-for-Echo anomalies on this saw are the hopping/bouncing OEM b&c, and the odd tune-ability which I have to imagine is simply an artifact of them having built the saw with such a small/tight, recirculating/scavenging muffler, which don't get me wrong I like the muffler after the OEM holes are simply enlarged but from-factory they're designed around an exhaust port that's like 1/8th" square!)
Thanks for all you do, have seen your offerings many many times on ebay when buying pistons, you seem to have good pop-ups for everything actually I think you're the only one who sold the popup 590 piston, very cool for you to post content as well (am kinda shocked I'm one of the 1st to get here, your name is built in celebrity in chainsaw-world maybe it's the "N Trees" because just google's algorithms should've been picking-up on this and feeding it to people, am surprised it only just fed/suggested it to me now, after I've spent like >1wk watching 2511 videos....it's suggested Poplar's videos like 50 times but only now did it show me yours as Suggested!)
(BTW did you do real comparison-times? I'm surprised - happily, since I wouldn't shell-out to change sprocket pitch - but surprised because it looks like you went from 28sec to 25sec by making that swap, it's kinda hard to tell because you need to account for that fumbling at the beginning of the OEM trial but would've expected more speed, were the cutter teeth on both chains the same type?)

Those chains are very badly filed. Rakers way to low or something. I have the panther chain on a 346XPG and it's so smooth it's insane. No chops or anything.

I know what the name of the problem is. Oregon 91VXL and it is junk!
