This was THE EXACT conversation I heard my parents have in August of 1999. The day before I left for college. My mom was waiting on me to leave for college so she could say she raised her children with father in the home. He worked too much. I rarely saw him. I missed my dad all the time. She should have left him when I was 8. I love my Dad so much now though. Now, he's my best friend. He just didn't want to be home with my mom who was unhappy all the time. Parents....put your kids first by leaving if your marriage is too broken. ❤
