Diamonds are grossly overpriced and overrated. My brother paid $17, 000 just for the diamond in his ex-wifes wedding ring 10 years ago. He had bought it through a high end diamond jeweller here in Canada (Spence Diamonds). They got divorced and the most he could get for that ring was $3, 000 TOTAL! His current wife got a cheapo ring from a budget jeweller. 😂 Lesson learned for me!
