I Quit My $100,000 Job After I Realized ONE Thing

So there I was….
Sitting at a desk and though I had reached my goal of being a marketing manager…..
I wasn’t fulfilled.
I got mad I wasn’t happy. I felt like I was being ungrateful for what I had. But something just kept nagging at me and no matter what I did, I couldn’t shake the feeling.
So...I quit my job.
Quitting your job is a VERY scary experience and something that takes a lot of guts to do, especially when you decide that you’re going to quit to start your own business.
I know exactly how this feels because about 5 years ago I did it myself and (luckily) I haven’t had to go back to an employer since then.
But, I didn’t quit out of nowhere. It was a step by step process and there was one specific thing that started it all.
In today’s video I’ll explain exactly what the one thing was that caused me to leave my $100,000/year job and why it’s such an important lesson for everyone to learn.
In order to explain what I realized, I need to go back in time and explain my story.
• Was working at a FT job
• Decided I wanted to start a side hustle because I always wanted to start a website and do something on the side of my FT job that could (maybe) be an escape
• Choose to make a website focused on employment after helping family friend
• Wrote and outsourced content for the website and saw some consistent growth
• Found a Facebook group of people dealing with issues. Shared there, after sharing my website went viral.
• This was the catalyst of me quitting my job.
• Passive Income was real
- Made money while I wasn’t working
- Made money while
- Make Money while I slept
- Make enough money to actually survive
• When I realized sustainable passive income is possible, it changed the way I thought about making money and even holding down a job
- Regular job making $100,000 a year
- $100,000- 30% (Taxes) = $70,000
- $70,000/52 = $1346
- $1346/40 = $33.65 per hour
- Doesn’t include commuting time, working from home on projects, and any extra time dealing with office parties and gatherings
• No more exchanging hours for dollars
• This is what most people need to realize
• Create a passive income business
- DO NOT leave your FT Job
- Focus on revenue per day ($10 day/$300 per month)
- Once you have profit, reinvest it
- Leverage other people’s time to build the business
- Continue to grow until you replace revenue from your job or have enough positive momentum to quit job
- Once you’ve done this once, rinse and repeat but never work on two projects actively at a time.
