Despite myself having good people assisting me and numerous successful runs…. I went way too over odds… I never counted, by I Phased like 15 Times until I successfully got the Zygarde

I still believe Zygarde to be the second hardest shiny Pokemon to hunt. Only Manaphy is harder to hunt. The reason is, it is the hardest raid boss and you’ll need a smart team and good RNG to even beat it. It took me several months to hunt it.

I used to do a lot of trading for fake shiny legends, and at some point got a real xurkitree from dynamax adventures. When I realized the legends were fake, I accidentally deleted the Xurkitree to! Still need redemption.

1 in 100 odds with 10 minutes between each successful shiny check is actually way slower than just soft resetting infront of a legend in their original game.

I'm not a fan of the "suck all your dynite ore out just to keep the same Pokémon in the DA" method. I don't have the time to farm 999 ore incase I'm unlucky enough to not get the shiny legendary after so many DAs which could happen. I guess it's a price to pay if I'm desperate.

I have the shiny charm and I have shiny hunted dialga. Beat it over 100 times and no luck. The only legend I managed to get was giratina.
I want to enjoy this method but I really only enjoy the concept. The NPCs make dumb decisions that make it seem like they're trying to lose to the legendary and other times they surprise me and are actually helpful. Maybe I should consider joining the discord but I have been having a busy time doing other things. If I can find time to do it I'll give it a go. I've done some DAs online with random people sometimes and honestly it's hard to tell if they're better than NPCs. At least players are able to dynamax while NPCs can't which makes it seem like NPCs give you a huge disadvantage.

Unfortunately, I'm a dumbass and decided to catch all of them except Reshiram and none were shiny (except Lunala, that one took me 100 tries alone). So now basically I have to decide whether or not I want to delete my original playthrough since it's the only one with online connection and has the most hours in it. 1, 415 hours to be precise.
Stupid GameFreak not letting us shiny hunt the ones in gen 9.
