Japanese Washing Machine Review and Tutorial: How to Use a Toshiba Washer & Dryer

Heres a two month review of our new Toshiba Zaboon fully automatic 7kg washer dryer.
This model calculates the appropriate amount of detergent and fabric softener for each load. The dryer function performs well, and wrinkles have not been an issue like I've experinced in other top loading style machInes.

The filter needs to be cleaned after each, and there's quite a bit of maintenance that must be done, such as wiping the inner rubber in the drum from time to time to remove dirt. As well as drying the inside of the system with a drying mode.

On the other hand, having the ability to wash your clothes in hot water from start to finish easily is a very nice reason to pick one up.

This model is great for a family of 3 or 4.

How do these washer and dry combos compare the separate washer and dryers? As an American moving to Japan, I am hesitant to do the combo as I've heard the drying isn't great.
