I try and buy 1 of each coin I like, Rather then a Tube of something as cheep as possible. I guess I'm a Collector of .999 fine Rounds, Bars, Coins. I have one of them Elephant's the 2022 Design. And everything is in Capsules. No DCA, In my game, It's all on sale as far as I'm concerned. Silver is Undervalued... Silver is at least $50 per Oz !

FYI they’re about $3/each cheaper on Monument vs APMEX which makes it much more justifiable

I’m stacking anything honestly. It’s the year of the rabbit so I’m getting all the different coins I can even boxed also I’m getting some of the 2011 pieces. Have some of everything. Pretty. I don’t stack silver. I have one sealed monster box of ASEs bought in 2010 per advise from the my family’s office for “what if”.

I purchased 96 Somali Elephants between 2013 and 2018 plus a 10oz 2017 version at prices which seem pretty low today. I stopped collecting them when silver premiums were getting out of hand and I was also switching to gold. In spite of your assurance that earlier versions will sell at high premiums, the ordinary stacker like myself would be hard pressed to get more than spot for them. In fact my local bullion dealer would pay no more than 95% of spot. The spread on gold is much lower and is much less risky.

Only silver I'm collecting and buying are Mexican Libertads when I can find them for a good price. Other than that I'm sticking to Fractional Gold. Silver Premiums are outrageous to collect any other type of silver coin.
