I hate to be pessimistic but unless valve does something to keep cheaters out as opposed to just kicking them out, it’s going to be a reoccurring problem. Obviously anything that they do is likely going to be circumvented in some way but the goal is to make so it happens less frequently. The same kind of gusto valve has when restricting the market and trades, apply that to playing comp as well and make the punishment for cheating so stiff no one will want to cheat.

It could be easy to identify recurring cheaters just if Valve add something attached at the account, profile or even the name shown at game... like a water mark or something else, no matter if he/she/it changes the name repetedly

There were some cooldowns for players with no time mentioned just Global Cooldown so that is permanent?

Even if valve bans 1 account you can get a new one for 2, 99 normally (average cheat account price)

I'm completely fine with this. Be super strict, issue these cool downs. Then even if a "normal" person is flagged they can play again after 1-7 days instead of being banned and losing inventories.

Btw all Vac recent bans where triggered by the server side (they can only caught blatant cheaters), so there's still a lot of wall hackers and aim assist out there.
So all those updates don't help at all, still recommend you guys to play only faceit or private servers.

I think valve is taking help from third party companies or anything else for overwatch review (Trusted partners) instead of normals players thats why no one got overwatch.

This might work. Less full bans and people losing inventories, but if it results in hassles for hackers. This may work as intended and keep them out of games and elect not to play with them on their next game.

Most rich gaming company on the world ValvE can't make a decent anti cheat. Shame on them tbh I love all ValvE games and Gabe but with CS 2 thing with cheaters this is embarrassing.

I played Inferno Wingman, dudes were straight wallhacking and aimbotting. Which is kind of suspicious for me like the anti-cheat still isn't working. 🤔

had today in regular MM a full cheating oponent team, there were not banned due to VAC live, but I'm pretty sure it still gets detected, as I mentioned it lately in Premiere, and so they will be categorized silently as cheaters and they face just themselves in the next matches.
