Hi, thanks for your educational videos! Is vaginal progesterone as effective as taking it orally. I'm on 100mg daily, continuous, but I think it's causing bloating. Thank you.

I’m 50 and peri menopausal and only on Progesterone at present which has helped me with anxiety and sleep as it has a calming affect… aside from protecting the uterus I think it is very useful to be offered/get all our hormones back (including testosterone when needed).

I have had a hysterectomy, but still have ovaries. I've had trouble sleeping for years. I have lived on unisom for about 2 years. A friend of mine who is a health care professional, was not thrilled that I was taking unisom long-term... Especially linked to first generation antihistamines causing dementia. 😬 She prescribed me progesterone. That was a game changer, I get great sleep now. And I don't wake up feeling groggy or hungover like I did with the unisom.

The original OG’s need huge props too re: the subject of progesterone—Dr. John Lee and Suzanne Somers. Thanks to all who prioritize women’s hormonal health.💙

What happens when you have a uterus and estrogen makes you feel amazing but you have neurosensitivity changes to progesterone. ie: it makes you depressed/anxious even in small doses.

I've read that there are so many more benefits of progesterone than are talked about in this video. This comes from taking body identical progesterone not progestins. Lara Briden's book 'Hormone Repair Manual ' talks about this.

Why aren't doctors looking beyond thinking the only benefit of taking progesterone in HRT is to prevent womb cancer?

Thank you, Heather. This is very helpful for me. I have had terrible insomnia since entering menopause at age 51.

I was encouraged by my locum to switch from Progesterone to Provera but that stuff may be cheaper but it is more likely to increase my chances of breast cancer. But I LOVE my compounded estrogen!

Progestin and progesterone are not the same thing. At all.

You take progesterone the second half.of cycle (day 15 onward leading up to period). It's confusing she said 1-12. A cycle day 1 starts on your period (1st day bleed). Your not taking progesterone through your period.... your taking it leading up to your period.

Progesterone has many benefits for the body besides simply protecting the uterus.

Good information. Came here to try to help my wife with her hormone changes. Thank you.
Constructive criticism - The uptalk is a little distracting and disrupts the flow of information.

I will be starting progesterone this week. My doctor prescribed a pill and a cream; natural and from a compound pharmacy.

I’m so confused. Everything I have read says that phytotherapeutic progesterone is best and safest because it is bioidentical. What does the FDA approve?

I really don’t like taking Progesterone 100 mg OP. Makes me feel sleepy, very unmotivated almost depressed. I have heard about inserting a tablet intravaginally . Can you comment on this?

Is it effective to take 100 mg progesterone every other night? I am thinking that 100 mg at bedtime is just a little much for me based on some symptoms. Will this still provide uterine protection? And will it still be able to work for the symptoms I wish to aid...ie sleep etc?
Thank you for all your time and knowledge for all women
