I became pregnant with a 10 day luteal phase.
(age 36, came off the pill 7 months before).
I got my positive pregnancy test on day 9. My son is now 2 months old.
Although these things can have an impact and it’s great to raise awareness, don’t lose hope that you can’t become pregnant because I didn’t struggle and I’m sure I’m not the only one!

Multiple Mirena IUD users have low progesterone issues after removal when TTC. This is great info!

6:56 So informative! I starting tracking my cycles recently to learn more about my body and how it functions, and I found I had a short luteal phase! Who knew! Everything about my cycles had always been normal, regular monthly periods, about 28 days long, no issues, my whole life. So this is great to know if I ever need to treat it! Thanks!

As someone who is currently TTC, I really enjoy your videos as they’re so informative and trustworthy, so thank you! However, if you could speak slower it would be amazing, I’m English and struggle to follow, so imagine for those when English isn’t their first language would maybe struggle too ❤️

Thanks a million! 🎉🤗 You are like a gift from heaven! I have had numerous doctor's visits with a variety of reproductive endocrinologist and I kept feeling like they were pushing me to ivf( so they could collect a check) .

I learned more from your free YouTube videos then in all of the consults I've paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for! Thank you so very much for all you do!! You are a TREMENDOUS BLESSING!
🙏💓🙏💓🙏💓

I have just rewatched this for the third time probably. This was one of the videos which made me release that I might have luteal phase defect and what treatment might be suitable. I finally had my first fertility consultation a few days ago and they indeed confirmed my suspicion, and they suggested I would try ovulation induction treatment, exactly as you have described in this video. This has made me more confident it would work and certainly is giving me hope after TTC for 14months. Thanks so much for a great content. Carry on doing what you do! 😊

Thank you for this video! I have been using Proov to confirm ovulation for my last 4 cycles. They have all been negative. My ob just prescribed me clomid to help get me to ovulate and fix my 9 day luteal phase!

I'm recovering from amenorrhea so my periods are still irrugular; this past cycle was 50 days, the one before was 72 days etc. I noticed I showed signs of ovulating only 6 days ago (egg white stretchy c/m) and I got my period today, I was concerned, but I'm felling confident that I'm nourishing my body and my cycle will eventually return to a normal length, it's slowly getting shorter over time.

Thank you so much for this video! My first progesterone lab work was 9 and the next month it was 5.6, so my doctor said I didn’t ovulate either month on clomid 50mg and 100mg. I’m now on 150mg of clomid and go back for lab work in a few days. It’s reassuring to know I actually did ovulate. Thank you again!

Currently TTC and in the TWW. Your videos are so calming and comforting! Thank you so much for doing what you’re doing! I’m quite envious of your patients, tbh 🤭

I was just tested on day 21 and got results today. Progesterone was low and prolactin was high. I have no leaking or discharge from my breasts 🤷🏻‍♀️ waiting on semen analysis before starting anything. These past 5 months have been so frustrating 😣 hoping for some good news soon ♥️

Hi there! Two months ago, around the time of my wedding, my luteal phase was 9 days long. I decreased my exercise (I was exercising a lot), decreased stressors, and added in 1, 000 mg vitamin c tablets to my regimen and I had a 13 day luteal phase this month 👊🏼🥰 thank you for the helpful info!

@NatalieCrawfordMD could you please make a video about PMDD and finding relief from PMDD based insomnia and
Birth control is not coming into question for me. Are there other options, also other than SSRIs maybe?
Thank you for all the information you share on a regular basis. Highly appreciated 👍 I also enjoy sharing your videos/podcast with friends from time to time. (:

I hate the luteal phase since I got the COVID vaccine I developed PMDD and it’s hell for 2 weeks before my period.

Dr. Crawford, what is your opinion about PDG test such as Proov tests, that detect the metabolite of progesterone? Do you think that can in fact, measure and therefore suggest the quality of the corpus luteum? And what does happen if after clomid or le trozo le treatment the progesterone is still low? Thank you

How common is it for women who previously had no problem conceiving to develop short luteal phase defect?

Thanks so much! Cannot get through to my gyno whether to stop my cyclogest/progesterone course since my period started today. Usually a short cycle between 22-24 days total but started my course on day 15 as per prescription but wasn't sure if still need to take on day 1 menses. Docs in the UK useless - still awaiting a call back :/ This video is SO SO SO useful! Explaining that Day 1 means follicular stage and no need for progesterone any more. THANK YOU DOCTOR!!
