It is interesting that σπουδάζω was translated as "study" in 2nd Timothy 2:15 but never again in its other 11 uses in the Greek New Testament. It is more likely to be translated as a form of "endeavored" or "diligence", the latter's meaning being more akin to "make haste." Lastly, the AMP and MEV both use "study" in their translations while the CSB and NKJV use "diligent, " which, as stated, is an alternate and more common use of the word in the KJV itself.
