In this unboxing and initial impressions we dive into what makes a brand like Winspace so special, and how their Hyper wheels perform better than wheels costing twice the price.

For clarification: LUN Wheels is the wheels division of Winspace. Similar to S-Works / Roval Wheels, and Trek / Bontrager Aeolus Wheels.

Thanks! I just ordered these same wheels (in disc form). I completely agree with what you said about not every purchase having to be sound; I got these because they're going to make me want to go out biking more often! I agree with you about the look of the 35/50s being nicer, but what really bums me is the inability to order a staggered setup. I would've loved a 50 front, 65 rear, but Winspace doesn't allow that (I asked customer service), so I'll be running 65/65. Will still look great, but not as nice as 50/65 IMO.

I have the 50 Hypers Disc. I love them! I also bought the Lun 45mm with SAPIM spokes for my training bike. I’m yet to build that bike yet but I’m excited to try them out.

I have the hyper 50mm which are awesome, but might just might get the 65mm when employed. The carbon spokes on mine did creak at load but quick spray of wd40 sorted

Awesome video you do a great job at commentary with spot on no guesswork I mean a lot of folks have seen these wheels on other reviews but you weren't one of the gifted ones and very very clear concise great job brother I love the little flex I don't freewheel much anymore as I'm always on the pedals hey man keep the rubber side down.

Allez for life. So good I have two. I run the Yeoleo SAT 50 /w Whiteindustries on the rim version and Lightbicycle AR35 /w DTSwiss240EXP on the allez disc. Both wheels I have balanced it with Golf led strips, about 17-19g per wheel. Try it, you will notice steady high speed rotations.

If you want to save some money ask them to send it by XDB. It takes a bit longer but I didn't pay shipping cost or import fee.
I also love my hyper 65mm wheels, except maybe the bearings.

Great video on these . I own a 50mm disc pair which I love so I was able to get a set of 38mm rim version for my other bike . I totally agree with going out and getting these . They really do check all the boxes for premium features and match it in performance . Best value / quality out there !!

Good to see you on the Tube, again. I got to spend the weekend riding with a legit super bike, and put in 110 miles in 2 rides with it, so I get the whole being tired thing. Additionally, your whole talk about having equipment that inspires you is very true. I just wanted to ride more and harder with it. Booyah!
