I found that KDE handles energy management better than Gnome or XFCE. That might be unique to my system running Ubuntu.

I've been using Cinnamon for a couple of months now. It's not as snazzy out of the box. But it really feels stable, looks relatively pretty and all the apps that you get with it are very good. Whereas I've found some other DE's I'd always install replacement apps instead of using the pre-installed ones.

KDE is the only DE that I find myself looking over thinking that the grass might be greener over there.

As of now, the new Plasma version doesn't seem to have arrived in Manjaro (last time I checked for updates is hours ago, though), but I'm really looking forward to playing with it.

Switched to Ubuntu Gnome, from KDE Neon Stable, after I got sick of KDE issues.
Some apps were not working correctly while some were not working at all, had frequent crashes, third-party themes came with bad integration and/or bugs and the default look is plain ugly.
I am not happy for changing but it seems the new setup is more functional.
