If you cannot install it from the Play Store you can try to manually install the application:

You won't believe how much this video saved my life. I searched for something like this for months until I found this app and then came across your video.

I highly suggest you change the title of this video to 'Android to NAS Backup' or something similar so it can be found easily.

After filling up my Google Photos storage, I went in search of a better solution than relying on the cloud, this video was extremely helpful and I have a perfect sync to my trunas smb share, its so good i even bought the pro version, thank you so much 😊

I've been on youtube for 15 years. I think this might actually be the first video of its kind that actually worked on the first try. Astonishing.
Tip: if you're connecting to a USB drive plugged into your router, the SMB login is just your router config login and pw. Also, there's some weird bug that prevents the phone from sleeping while the app is running but I don't really care.

This is awesome. I just got a Pixel 4a but don't want to pay extra for more Google Storage and anyway I would prefer to not upload my photos to google in the first place!

This is what I call useful knowledge, not this junk videos online that show you cookie cut and paste tutorials that a 5 year old can figure out, you would think that smartphone companies would have these type of features built in the phone already...it only makes sense...my Samsung files app allows you to add a network location but the backup features only allows backups to the cloud and sdcard...

Can this app run a job with a manual trigger - only when I run it interactively? I am looking to plan to mirror a folder of text files on my tablet with a particular folder /share on my laptop so it can both be used as back up and for manipulation later on the laptop.
