Here you will find step-by-step instructions to assist in the assembly process for the head assembly of your Lasko Pedestal fan. Lets get started!

First you will want to confirm you have the following parts: Motor Assembly, Rear Grill, Front Grill, Spinner, Plastic Nut, and Fan Blade (show images of each)

Start off by tilting the Head Assembly back. Place the Rear Grill on the Motor Assembly. Be sure to align the tab of Plastic Rear Grill with groove located on the center hub of the motor. (show image of grill tab and groove on motor)

Fully seat the Rear Grill to the motor and secure with the Plastic Nut turning Clockwise until tight. Be sure not to over-tighten.

Slide the fan blade onto the metal Motor Shaft. It is important to align the groove on the fan blade center with the pin on the motor shaft to ensure safe and proper assembly. (Show up close images)

To secure the fan blade, screw the spinner onto motor shaft turning counterclockwise until tight on Blade hub. While tightening, be sure to use one hand to hold the blade in place on the motor shaft to prevent rotation. Be sure not to over tighten.

With fan head assembly in the upright position, align the ornament (Logo) of Front Grill so it is horizontal and right side up. By starting with the top of the grill and working down both sides of the grill simultaneously, insert Snaps on Rear Grill through Slots in Front Grill (show up close image of the snaps and slots on front and rear grills)

Once snapped together securely, you have successfully completed the head assembly instructions. Enjoy!

The two problems I see is the pedestal pipe itself. It doesn't lock into place in the plastic base. The base fits down on the pipe but does not lock into place. So far the fan rotation in the different speeds is good. After the up and down adjustment, the tightening nut can't get tight enough to hold weight of fan. It slowly slips down. I may have to put a clamp on it. The base, I might have to put some kind hold sealant. I'm not sending it back. I hope it last through the summer months.

We've had two fans like that one. The first one died within a couple of months. The second one was used sporadically and lasted several years. Then one day it shocked the hell out of my wife when she tried to turn it on.

The screw in the blade doesn’t attach to the spinner, or the spinner doesn’t make contact with the threaded tip

The fan blade itself needs to be better balanced at time of manufacturing so it doesn’t wobble when in use

Why does the spinner go on counterclockwise? It’s right righty, not lefty tighty. The nut goes on the right way. I'm calling the UN.

I need to disassemble a lasko pedestal fan to clean it. It has a metal front cover and a plastic back cover. How do I take the metal cover off without breaking the plastic pieces? There are no clips & the metal doesn’t bend. I already went on the website & it was no help.

This fan is made with the cheapest plastic on earth and has zero durability. There's nothing sturdy about it.
