Just lucked out and found an AOR Series II 100watt head 8 knob near my house for a solid price, absolutely floored with the tone I can't believe how good my pedals sound with it, its my first tube amp, and holy crap what a sound.

I literally just bought a frost giant Architect Of Reality and it feels awesome to know I have these tones in the form of a JFET based pedal. Obviously the amp is slightly better but also more unreliable. Either way, Laney's rule! Such kickass amps!

Great video! I have a Laney GH30R-112 combo, its a beast for Stoner Doom and Sabbathy Rock! If you can try it out, for the price its insane value! Specially of its feature where in Channel 2 one can Push the power amp tubes while keeping the overall master volume low (Still have to use an attenuator because its soooo loud!). I use it with a DOD Carcosa Fuzz, an amazing versatile fuzz pedal. I would love to see this amp done on a stoner doom application because there is absolutelly no video on Youtube :( And I'm no youtuber.

I got a Laney AOR30 Series 1, 8 knob head version. I used it on 4 albums/EP releases for my band and it sounds very good. It's also the only one I ever seen and as far as I know it never was in production. My amp tech, who runs a boutique amp company, also thinks it is a prototype as it uses the cassis of the 100w version.

Those AORs also get pretty expensive these days, I've seen them go fro aroun 800-1000 bucks, got mine for 300 a few years ago.

I just picked up the 50mv series 2, with pull pots, and the master volume does not kill the volume with the pre amp'd at full. Any ideas. Also with bass boost, I have to keep it at 1. Luv iommi
