Four things I took away :
1. It's important to understand how the world works through education and how to get people together to work on an idea.

2. Preservation of existence and human consciousness is one of the highest ideals.

3. Building a working prototype of your business idea will get more people on board than just having it on PowerPoint or paper.

4. Listen to your gut instinct. He failed three times .. was told by almost everyone he asked not to pursue the space idea.. but he went ahead and did anyway. Failed 3 times and the fourth time.. he did it.

He had done it again in 2020. I'm inspired.

Thank you Elon! You said it best in your final words of this video. “MAKE A WORKING PROTOTYPE” I spent several years making a working prototype, until I got it right. People thinking I was nuts to waste so much time making a prototype. It came to a point my wife asked me not to talk about it around her family. Finally completion after four years of failure after failure. I successfully demonstrated the prototype at an Inventors Showcase in Indianapolis last fall. Finally a feeling of closure. And yep, now I have a company, thanks to some great business partners as a result of making a working prototype. (The ultimate thrill of my life, will be to see the product benefiting others the first time in public) Now, my wife tells me how she supported and encouraged me from the very beginning. So funny, because she was my biggest critic. Truth is, it was partially because of her criticism. I hope this comment, as you have stated about prototyping, encourages others. Thank you Elon👍
