I mean it’s kind of hard to unseat one of the greatest college players of all time. There was no reason to have him start over Tebow. Look at Tebows college numbers they’re actually insane. He threw for almost 10, 000 yards. Ran for 3, 000 and had almost 150 touchdowns. He won a heisman and two national championships. So it’s tough to even say he was better at that time. Cam was obviously better in the NFL but they were both very unconventional NFL QBs.

has really grown up in life. Much respect to a goat in college football for sure. My boy Mike Hayes played with him at Blinn Jr College and they were a show man.

He's right, being from Gainesville and going to multiple practices I saw that he was a better player/QB than Tebow. The hype around Tebow here was crazy. I won money betting that Cam would go higher and would have a better pro career and I collected my money.

This was very well articulated with the least amount of shade. I couldn’t agree more. Tebow had Florida in a chokehold since his senior year in high school. It was nothing cam could do about that.

Happens everyday in regular working environments but if you stay the course, everybody gets their turn. Just maximize your moment. Truth came out in the end. Tebow was the ultimate college player and Cam become one of the ultimate pros. Both things were true just different time tables.

Cam was better than Tebow. Cam dominated college football with no other NFL caliber players on offense at Auburn. Tebow dominated because he had an all star team at Florida. Cams run through the SEC that year was legendary. Cam never lost a game in college as a starting quarterback. He went undefeated at Blinn and won the juco national title. Then went undefeated at auburn and won the national championship.
