I'm riding SOLO from London to Istanbul AND BACK || EP.4 - The Dolomites

Today I'm riding the #twisty mountain #passes through the beautiful #Dolomites - but as the journey progresses, I'm finding more and more challenges - will I make it on time to meet Dan in Istanbul..

In June 2023, I rode my #mt07 #solo from #london to #istanbul - reaching 20 #countries in 21 days.

I did this for many reasons, and you'll find out more as the #journey unfolds.

💰💰💰 WAYS TO MAKE THE DAY CHEAPER; 💰💰💰

HOTEL; Stay at a hostel, 'AirBnB', 'couch surfer' or camp. I stay solo at hotels because it's where I feel safest. Switzerland & Austria were the most expensive countries. Turkey and Romania were the cheapest.

TOLLS; Take the back roads, those are FREE.

FOOD; Take sandwiches, buy cheaper food - although, don't skip lunch like I did..

Last time I commented I was hesitating between getting a Himalayan 450 or the MT-07. Now I'm a proud owner of a Himalayan 450 and i've driven around 7500 miles in 6 months!
You and other biker video's have made me want to ride and it's the best decision i've made in ages, I've driven from the Netherlands to Serbia, and also driven to Dublin and the Isle of man with it.

Thank you for your video's and the price breakdowns, they helped me with planning (and then I went over my budget, but that's life) .

Congratulations on your new job. I really enjoyed your riding through the Dolomites. I am looking forward to your next day of travelling to meet your boyfriend. Hopefully, you will catch up with your scheduled ride. The route that I watched you took looks truly amazing. I would really like to travel myself. I have Triumph Tiger Sports 660, called Tigger. I have an accident 9 weeks ago I was rear-ended by van that was uninsured, plus he ran away from the scenehe caused, clearlybecausehis van was uninsuredandno MOT. I have recently had my bike back after being rebuild, but was close to being a write-off. I really like watching bikers like yourself going on these truly amazing trips. I will need to work for a while. The bike accident has cost £3, 000. Thank you and yes you are an inspiration. I will need to look into the insurance and other logistics of travelling abroad. Enjoy and stay safe.
