That’s not a wierd spot to get a blister, got one in the exact same spot when I switched to thicker drumsticks, as well if I play too much it’s always middle finger just bellow the top knuckle

one question :how do you throw sticks at the crowd without hurting people?
I used to throw sticks but I once hit a chick a little hard, sincer then I only give them to the first row

best thing for drum blisters is just to wrap some electrical tape or stick tape around it like a band aid. It doesn’t rub or hurt like a band aid would and the tape is slick so the stick can still move just fine
