CNET How To - What is Google Now?

Those of you lucky enough to be enjoying Android Jelly Bean can take advantage of a new feature called Google Now. Sharon Vaknin explains how to get search results before you even think to ask for them.

Yes, it learns your patterns etc. It now knows when I leave for school every day and tells me about the traffic, does the same from work, baseball practice, etc. Its absolutely amazing!

Yes, it does. It learn's from your search results and gets much better over time.

I would think so. It learns how you interact with the app etc, so it builds a profile about you and basically gives you the info you need before you need it.

Let's say I like Football, and search the scores on a team all the time, the app will after a time just pop up the newest scores whenever the match is done or running, BY it's own.

Wow this is probably the most in depth Google Now video I've seen. I've been using Google Now since July on my Gnex and I must say its fuckin awesome. Not a Siri ripoff but stands alone as the perfect information gatherer/provider. The voice is very human, the search results are instant and I love the UI. Basic yet beautiful. IMO this is a million times better than asking Siri pathetic childish questions and getting dumb responses.

I have tried both siri and Google now, Google Now is just much easier. No fooling around, just straight up answers to all of your questions.

You can get Google Now in the latest version of the Googlr Search app on iPhone.
