Born and raised Chicagoan. I live about 7 minutes from this market, for over 15 years, and I never knew it existed. I'm the kind of local that doesn't ever look things up online. I drive around and over the decades I have go-to spots that have been cataloged as a result. Mitsuwa being an excellent example. I discovered it a very long time ago and it's become my favorite place to spend an afternoon when I have to pick up Asian necessities for my kitchen, with the occasional Chinatown 15 min park I do. I'm so grateful to have bumped into this short tonight, you've no idea how much I will be utilizing this location. I was today years old stranger, today years old.
