Yes thats fine, anything basically can be sent. You cant control the P16 from the desk, at least I dont think so, you can onkly control what is sent to the p16 system as a whole.

Well 16 outputs is not entirely true, as you can send channel direct outputs to the P16 too if I recall - sadly the desk is no longer with us. So you could use channel direct outs and patch them to the p16 inputs or bus/aux outputs (of which the total available is 16)

Great review. Can I use the S16 in standalone mode with a P16-M plugged into the Ultranet port without X32 connected?

im assuming that when you connect the s16, you have to route the i/o's from it to your faders. as it is seen in his series of videos, im imagining you can run a full 48 inputs into the desk using the local inputs on the console itself as well as a s16 running beside it.

I want to start by saying "THANK YOU!" We are in the process of learning about the Behringer x32 and your youtube videos are a great help to us!
I do have one question that would greatly appreicate your clarification. I understand that Behringer x32 only have 16 outputs. If we use the ultranet to setup the p16M would that allow us to free up the 16 outputs for something else since the p16M will be getting signal from Ultranet port instead of the 16 output ports? Thank you!

I have watched quite a few reviews and overviews of the X32... Yours is by far the best... They should delete the rest... Behringer owes you a nice paycheck!!! My questions are as follows... Can i link two X32s together and operate them as one? Also I can I use the S16 Stage Box just as additional inputs to make the console a 48 input Mixer?

Newbie question here. If you connect s16 to x32 with ethernet cable does it send digital signal through packages thus bypassing the x32 preamp and a/d converter???

Would I run 2 seperate S-16`s into AES50 A & B to get 32 channels from my stage to the x32 or daisy two boxes together and send via one cat5 to X32?
