Laser Slicer Addon - Blender 2.81

Here I am using the Laser Slicer Addon for Blender 2.81 a little bit different than is intended to use by the developer. You can use the Laser Slicer addon to slice your object, but you can also use it to give your mesh some ridges. (I said ribbles in the video, but it must be ridges).

are you able to save each layer as dxf to actually laser cut them?

How do you get the grease pencil view port?

I only seem to be seeing the rings on the right, not the flat slices on the left

after installing the program. I was not able to get the laser slicer panel to appear. Not sure what I may be doing wrong.
