Most retail stores receive items packed in large sheets of foam board and you can get them for free if you ask and pick them up before they go to trash disposal.

Try using the blue or pink insulation board, there more sold and less messy

Getting some hot foam cutters and a dremmel will makenthe tedious part a little better. Than just using knives.

I had my crawl space encapsulated so I have some like, 4 inch foam left over and this is the first tutorial I have seen that is not a huge PITA so thank you!
