This deserves more views, what an incredible and well thought out story. The writing, and dialogue between Luke and Vader is precisely what I imagine would happen in an actual What if scenario such as this. The voice acting made this even better than it already is, you got yourself a new subscriber!

I was not expecting that to be as tear-jerking as it was.

"Know only this: It was not I who saved my son; he saved me. I only wish I'd seen the light long ago."

Perfection.

I also enjoyed the rather atypical route taken in the Rebellion sentencing Vader to death rather than going with the usual plot of the Rebellion not executing their prisoners, no matter how bad their crimes. That and Leia swooping in to help Luke out was also a pleasant surprise.

But the voicing acting and visuals were also phenomenal. In the words of Vader himself: Impressive. Most impressive.

Most surprising to me was the conversation with Anakin, Yoda and Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan welcoming Anakin back to the Light. Yoda, while firm on his crimes as Vader encourages him to to atone. when Anakin asks how and Obi-Wan responds by guiding Luke and rebuilding the Jedi Order to be better than it was due to his own experiences, it feels so genuine and emotional. A brilliant what if scenario.

The final scene of Anakin speaking with Padme’s tomb had me tearing up a bit. Wonderful voice acting and it truly got me immersed. I could easily picture the characters while listening.

I like to think that Rex would try and stand by Luke’s side and help his old general one last time. It would make sense because Rex was with the rebel alliance at this time

I feel like this has already been said many times in this comment section, but out of all the theories I've seen, this is the best one. Not ending with a gloomy, dark ending nor a very happy all-is-well situation. It perfectly balances the two. Seriously I think this needs way more appreciation. The voice acting is also incredible. Overall just a fabulous video and a 24 minutes I do not regret.

This might be my favorite iteration of the scenario. Most scenarios I’ve seen of Vader surviving ignore the fact that the rebellion would despise him. Everyone in this iteration feels in character and like it would happen
