Bought this album when I was In Art School, 1982 I think. I am a big fan of Stanley Clarke, hence my name. Still one of my favorites albums with great rhythms and arrangements!!! Stan.

Stanley playing those false harmonics on the bass. The best track on the album.

I heard Stanley play this live in 1985 in Minneapolis, MN. He took the bass to new levels never heard before on this song that night.

I was in the Navy station in Charleston, SC when this album came out. There's one comment here pointing out Stanley's use of false harmonics which is key to the melody but the subtle use of opening the wah pedal and rocking back ever so slightly is truly masterful❗🤟🏽😎🎶💖

I don't know which one of Stanley's many Alembic basses he was using on this track, but it has the best tone of any of them and they all sound great.

Two people obviously have indigestion of the ears, heart, and soul>:-(.
If his bass could talk, it'll cuss them out.
