Goldie Hawn’s Brutal Honesty About Divorce & Why She’ll Never Marry Kurt Russell

Goldie Hawn is getting honest about the reason she never married her longtime love, Kurt Russell. In a new interview with CNN's Chris Wallace, the "Snatched" star explained why they chose to not become husband and wife despite being together for nearly 40 years. "When it doesn't work out, it ends up to be big business," she said. “Somebody actually has to take a look and say, ‘How many divorces actually are fun? How many divorces actually don’t cost money? How many divorces actually make you hate the person more than you did before? How many divorces have hurt children?’” The pair, who have been together since 1983 share one son, Wyatt, together and have a blended family with Russell's eldest son, Boston, and Goldie's kids, Oliver and Kate Hudson.

I'm ALL for it and I'm here for it! They're both in a long-term relationship, they're happy and it works for them! I fully support and agree with the choice of having a long-term relationship WITHOUT the marriage part! Marriage doesn't work for everyone and it shouldn't have to either! Everyone isn't marriage material and they shouldn't have to be either! Everyone doesn't want, doesn't need and is unfit to be married!

This woman is award winning director, writer, actress. She has been in the business for many years, she has worked with the best, she has kept herself and her personal business out of the tabloids, she has contributed to how we educate our children and those are all things I want to hear her talk about. What a disrespect to ask her, on a prime time interview tv show, about her personal life. This woman is a genius, is accomplished and successful in everything she has done.
