There hasn't been any woman funnier YET to this day! When she passed - I was so shocked and saddened. I loved her brand of humor. I watched her on Carson as a guest, fill in host, and on her own show, plus her reality show. We could use a bit of her humor right now. Just imagine her going in on Trump & Melania, DeSantos, and Lindsey Graham to name a few. Some celebrities used to say "you know you've made it when Joan Rivers talks about you". She's greatly missed.

Her signature comedic style was the “out of bounds” joke. A joke that would normally be considered as crossing the line. But the fact that they were shocking and funny and delivered with a fast Brooklyn accented pace, made them land.

They are risky because they could garner an “ooooh, no” response from the audience. Her pace, delivery and timing made them successful.

I remember Joans appearances on Wendy. The amount of times I replayed her jokes. Especially the one about Gweneth and her daughter bringing home a black man. I wish Joan Patrice and George Carlin were still with us.
