i got mine last night and it was the most fun i've had jamming out in a long time. this thing has a sound that is like a freight train punching through a hurricane hauling a load of dynamite.
I like the vol and sustain knobs at 100% with the tone at about 45%. the sweet spot is from like 35-60% on the tone knob.

I feel remise that Henning can't see the fuzz for the trees. Must be a German thing where if something is grimey or broken it's improper and has no place. (Yes I'm making a stereotypical generalization about German cleanliness and applying it to tone for the sake of comedy)

In my opinion this is the best sounding muff EHX has come out with since going back to USA, much better than the NYC muff. The green russian is also great but I prefer most of the boutique heavily modded green russian pedals.

To me, fuzz is just another texture to color sound with...not really question of good or bad. If you like it and can create something musical, why not? I think another one of the better experimenters with fuzz/distortion of recent is Billy Gibbons, who is able to take we might normally think is an unusable tone and create magic that works! Fun stuff! Love your reviews and sense of humor man!🤙🏻😎🎸

I prefer something a little more velvety, but usable fuzz for sure!
