not everyone play like hendrix or van halen, who can make shitty gears sound like million dollar. i want gear demoed by mediocre players and sounds awesome. this demo is genius.

Who else wants to party with bass dude?

Green has more lows and the Op Amp had more highs. Green = Black Keys / OpAmp = Smashing Pumpkins.

Both killer, the Op-Amp has a fuzzier quality but I'd own both tbh.

Thanks for turning them both on at the same time!

"My mother" and "muff" rarely sound good in the same sentence.

Weird thing is when I played the real op amp and the real Russian, the Russian always seemed to have a more SP sound?!

I hate the sound of Big Muffs with blackface fenders, it is just too fizzy and lacks mids, thats why J Mascis and Billy Corgan used Marshalls. Clean or slightly crunchy Marshall type works wonders for these pedals, I really like the sound of the Op Amp reissue, a few videos online show it sounding mad!

What is he on about, saying fuzz HAS to go into a clean amp!? He's playing J Mascis riffs for God's sake.

NEUROSURGEONS FUNERAL PYRE, great prog from Marc as always, I’m a die hard Pumpkins fan but I feel like the Russian is smoother and more versatile, maybe it’s how the fella EQed the amp but it just sounded very shrill

At 3:51 I had the exact feeling that it would start "Dopesmoker".
By now I know that face! : D

I like the green muff better for bass and the OP amp for guitar.
