If you're over 35ish keeping blush away from the bottom of the apples of your cheek, starting it on the upper apple & bring your blush up to where you normally put your highlighter and sweeping it up into temples and blending it out up close to under your eye and outside corner of your eye. I love these tips I've been using a white eyeliner in the inner corner to give me a more awake look and also I've implemented what you said about not applying anything on the lower lash line so as not to emphasize the dark circles

It's amazing how much I can learn as a "mature" woman! Since my skin has become crepey, I stay away from shimmer shades on my eyes, especially in the corner. I use the Lorac Pro Matte palette that has a wonderful white shade to brighten my face. Shimmer shades really accentuate crepey texture!

Thank you for all of your tips. I am always looking for any tips to lift my face spirits etc. Especially as I age. I appreciate that you use drug store a little more than high end as well. Some videos I have watched for a while the person gets their own business and makes more money and they start using more and more high end products. So drug store products are used less and less. Hi! I use eye makeup primer over the top of my regular primer on my nose to reduce pores. Amazing how nice it works 😉🤗😍

For my hooded eyes find the reverse cateye technique works best for lifting. You don't have to use black or a dark color either. I'll use a neutral shade on my eyelids sweeping up and out. Or I'll use a contrasting color like blue on lower & lighter shades of orange on upper! Try it, I think you'll like the results!

I also have oily skin, and am a young 53. I have started applying concealer and foundation in the same step (apply to specific areas, blend down concealer w/concealer brush, then blend foundation in with a foundation brush). I use just enough powder in only targeted areas, relying on my powder bronzers, blushes and highlighters to set those areas, and finish with a setting spray. My makeup stays fresh longer. I do use mattifying primers and oily-skin-friendly complexion products.

Wayne Goss said this one - apply eye cream under eye in the beginning of the makeup application, then wait until it sinks in, then so it again and even again if needed. It plumps up the under eye - also concentrate the concealer in the inner corner of eye :)
