This method absolutely works. I bought the gel and powder on Amazon and followed his instructions. I also put the gel on active trails. Within minutes the ants were swarming all over it. I saw a couple of stragglers the next couple of days. Have not seen any ants for over 2 weeks now!

Beware! If you have a attic fan or a powerful central A/C system with air intakes this DUST will be drawn into your home. Put your hand in front of a electric outlet, activate your A/C or your attic fan with all the doors and windows closed. The air that is pulled from the voids in your home will be felt on your hand, especially the closer you get to the intake or fan. I have two dogs and 4 kids.. The ants are always down stairs in my laundry room.. I done know where they are coming from they are not walking all in a straight line.. Ugh I kid you not 2-3 times a day we kill 100+ it's out of control.. Help I hate to use anything that could possibly hurt my kids or pups but these damn ants.. Gahh!!

Terro liquid ant bait killed them all last year around August. Took about 5-7 days but I didn't mind. They were only crawling on my barber carpet in my living room, pretty contained in one area. My rabbit is in a pen on the floor over there so I think her environment attracts them. In any case, I bought the ant bait at Target. This is what I'm going to use this week since they came back this past week. If you have pets, I would contain them in certain areas of your house until the ants are all gone.

Oh wow, I didn't even think of the electrical switch plates. That may be where a lot are getting in now that I think of it! Do Carpenter Ants get in that way? or usu, not? For the sweet eating, ones, I used a product called Torro. It came in a small bottle and was like a syrup like pale yellow substance you put on tiny pieces of kleenx and spread them by the trails. It was great. The very next morning the ants, kleenex bits and trails were gone for good! Would it work on carpenter ants?
