In today's 2 minute garden tip, I show you the most beautiful citrus tree everyone should grow! The Variegated Pink Lemon is a gorgeous fruit tree that grows well in containers, so even people in cold climates can be growing citrus trees like this!

This citrus variety blooms with the most fragrant blossoms you can imagine and sets an incredible amount of lemons, even in its first growing season. These lemons have the same flavor as the lemons you're used to in the grocery store, so you can use them in any recipe requiring lemons. They have few seeds and are very juicy. This small lemon tree is easy to grow, and it's a great citrus variety to try growing citrus in containers at home.

I grow 2 lemons from 2 seeds from 1 lemon. Both have different characteristic. It was just some fun experiment i did during lockdown in 2020. Yesterday my variegated Eureka arrived. Today pink lime arrived. I have lime and makrut. I'm going to get calamansi & key lime. I grew up with calamansi and some fragrant roses. When both were in bloom the yard just smell heavenly.

Thanks for your info. I just bought a semi-dwarf variegated pink lemon tree & planted it in a 10 gal grow bag. I like the bags vs pots so I can easily drag them in & out of the sun if too harsh. 👍

Love this! I just bought 2 & am so excited, esp to see the small pot you have it fruiting in❤. I swear you cover pretty much everything I've bought or wanna buy😊

Yes I have this tree! Got her this year at lowes growing her in zone 5b! I’ll be bringing her plus a citrus medley tree, calamondin, olive and 2 pink guava trees indoors to grow under light for the winter, mso they can get stronger for next spring as they were just babies when I purchased them. I’ve got several older citrus trees recommended by you coming this month which I will keep in my greenhouse outdoors.

Thank you for this suggestion. Running to madisoncitrus nursery to see if they have one.
I wanted to let you know that I used your trick with a wagon, to carry my citrus in and out. That is a game changer. Eight 5 gal pots can be rolled in and out in less than a minute. I used to carry them, and that was hard.

They are beautiful trees and their leaves smell like skittles. I wish i could train one to be taller and less bushy. I've had two and they just spread out so much. Any suggestions on shaping?

I am in 7b and growing a Meiwa kumquat in a pot. I didn't realize I could put it in the ground?

Do you bring in all your dwarf trees during winter? I would love to grow fruit trees except I live in zone 8b and all local nurseries dont sell them because they say they won't do well here. I live in a tiny house could I build green house instead of bringing them inside?

Beautiful plant. Of course I have a few questions. Do you ever worry about citrus trees inside not getting enough light? I have some inside with limited light for now. I notice this tree has less foliage than it did in the fertilizing video, is that something to be concerned with or acceptable for winter? Finally, I would love some more info on how you use those containers. I thought you had a video on them but you also have a video about the black nursery pots. In the fertilizer video you fill up the bottom, same for watering? I have a few trees in these self watering containers but have been hesitant to fill water much.

How do the variegated fruit taste compared to a typical Eureka lemon?

Why do my fruits start to set and grow and then turn yellow and fall off?
