Did a YT search about a year ago for a car problem. Little did I know that I would be watching Eric almost daily ever since. Go figure.

I think these videos where you chase down unique problems are some of my favorite.

Luck? Ha, two peices of luck: she got stuck at home, and lucky to have Eric fix it. Eric, not lucky, just good... very good, extraordinary thorough.

SMA and Scannerdanner are the two best auto channels on YouTube.

The green crusties will get you every time. I found many broken wires by looking for the green dust. We had the same problems in Michigan a little poke in the insulation, add road salt, bam green rot. Great video .

locked and loaded, but the part cannon remains silent. Great video, and using the vacuum hose where the 'engineer' should have placed a rubber grommet.

Once again going the second and third mile to insure a quality fix. You are the state of the art in auto diagnostics and repair.

Great job. I always learn something watching. If not how to diagnose, how to do it right.

Definitely number1along with Paul Danner. Nothing fancy just very informative and real world mechanics and troubleshooting. Thanks Eric O

Eric your crack pipe lighter came in handy for the heat shrink tubing. I need to upgrade mine. Great job finding the problem!!

Don't be disappointed Eric, you solved it and didn't waste parts. Doesn't matter how long it took, it was 100% success and we still learned something. Love the vacuum hose idea btw!!!

Eric,
Anyone that has never done any type of circuit tracing/trouble shooting will not have any idea of just how skilled you are.
I am 71 years old and have been doing some kind of mechanical work since I was 12 years old. Your skills are amazing.
I am jealous of your skills, training and ability.

as usually Eric O. saves the day. I also think it's worth mentioning that I think it was great that you went to this clients house to help her out. I like see you in the shop but every once in awhile its nice to see you out and about helping others that might not be able to get the vehicle to you. Quality addition with the rubber hose to ensure no future problem at that junction point. Who else would do that? nobody!!! Thanks for going the extra mile!

Great video as always. For future reference, to access that C201, drop the knee bolster (x2) 7mm screws, and remove the metal bolster under that the with (x4) 10 bolts and you have all the room in the world, super easy.

That made my day. It would have been easy for anyone to miss that small detail but like you said, you didn't throw a part on it so all is well. Taking the extra step to protect the wires was a class act, well done.

Once again a pleasure watching you work, Eric O.,  top diagnostic skills such as yours are so hard to come by these days.  You've also shown us in the past what many already know too, even dealers aren't the best troubleshooters.   I once ran into one of GM's famous copper coated aluminum battery cables that literally turned green from within and swelled the cable jacket, no punctures but a completely dissolved section of wire inside with zero current flow, first time I had seen such a thing.  Great video Dr. O.
