Spoiled Red Squirrel Child Throws Tantrum and Gets His Way

Young Red Squirrel throws a remarkable barking fit to get his way with food - and I'm his enabler. At least I forced him to up his game. Red Squirrels are remarkable for their boisterous intimidation tactics - we have Gray Squirrels in the mountain forests just like Reds, but there is a reason almost all the videos are of the Red Squirrels - they literally scare the much bigger squirrels away.

Res squirrels are such feisty little things lol. The 2 fox squirrels that I feed by hand never chirp or bark at me, they don't make much noise at me in general, they just come up to my door and I give them almonds lol.

I tell my squirrels the very same thing. I'm the one who put the nuts and seeds out for you! They are so spoiled, if they want more food, they jump on to my screen door hanging on with all four paws to let me know they want more. I love these little guys. Thanks for the video.

Right now I’m watching a red squirrel terrorize a gray squirrel trying to eat under my bird feeder. He keeps sneaking up behind him, pounces, then runs away, repeat. Hilarious and sassy little creatures.

How adorable! These guys are such intelligent little shits 😂💖 there's one in my backyard that took over the shed - he loads it full of pinecones, (rotting) fruit, and whatever else he can scavenge! He also chases away the larger black and grey squirrels 😂 he guards it by sitting on the roof - if you come too close he'll start waving his tail and chattering at you! Little buggers😘

I love how their cute little tails jump around in rhythm with their verbal accostings lol. These guys are so territorial at first. I got one that chewed his/her way into the trunk of a car I don't drive as holy crap, , , , so many walnuts!!!! I took some for putting out for my own amusement through winter and put the rest in a bucket outside the car so he/she could still stash them somewhere else lol.

I love your videos! I don't subscribe to many channels, but they will pretty much be about nature and animals if I do.

I enjoy the educational tidbits you include. One of my favorite episodes is the pregnant squirrel in the yard, she is on the fence and runs back to a tree with her nuts, and the video was taken sometime after the hurricane. She was lovely. And I never saw a pregnant squirrel before. The stories and background on the squirrels are great too. Thank you.

:) you are right, quite the verbal scolding by such a small guy. Lol God bless. I have been feeding the ones around my place those multicolored wheat and veggie goldfish crackers. We had a bunch that were outdated that friends found in a dumpster and gave us . I can't tell if they are eating them or hiding them. Lol they look so cute with the little fish in their hands. The crows love them, too.
