How to Install Ampero 2 Stomp Firmware Update

A brand new firmware for the Hotone Audio Ampero 2 Stomp was released this week. It addresses a bunch of little technical issues and optimizations. And while there are no new features in this update, it offers up an opportunity to show you how to update the firmware, which takes about five minutes.

I didn't have to put the Ampero II into firmware mode to do the update. Firstly I downloaded the firmware updater zip, then I opened the editor (V 1.0.1), then switched on the Ampero II. The editor then popped up a dialog box asking if I wanted to update the firmware. Easy as that!

I can’t get the editor to recognize the ampero. I tried different usb to usb-c cables the versions are 1.3.0 and editor is 1.3.0.I deleted redownloaded several times.Any Ideas? Thanks

Update to Ampero II Stomp 1.2.0 failed here and it doesn't connect to PC or MAC anymore. I tried several times to do the factory reset (holding the 3 buttons at the same time and trying to connect it via USB again but nothing happens. Ampero stays on the update "black screen" waiting to be updated. Do you know any other way to hard reseting it without the need of a PC / Mac (like a factory hard reset)?

Help! My Ampero 2 imply stopped working. Tried to use the updated firmare and the issue remains. It just goes to black screen and get stuck there. Know just goes to te firmware update screen (when it decides to do another thing) when when I try to udpate it, it just stop and goes back to the black screen of death. Already tried several times. There is no pattern. Is there a way to do a hard reset? I received it yesterday and it is already like that... :(

I tried to update the firmware but the device got stuck on the firmware update screen. No matter how many times I switched on and off the device, it still didn’t get out of that screen . Any idea how solve this issue? Thanks

Funny - this is the 3rd video I have seen on this process, and none of them work for me. I am not a novice. It simply does not load the firmware when I select it. Time to move on from this device.

My new Ampero Stomp does not opens its editor. It says the device is not connected, although it is. Tried several tutorial, firmware and editor versions, besides the so-called "Solution" the suggest. Still not working. The device works normally, trhough. Just doesn't connect tyo the PC. Already tried different ports, cales etc. Any ideas! Best regards!
