Take it apart slightly to just check on things, if he really did a poor enough job on it, then just ask him if he wants you to fix the rest of it for more money.

could have rebuilt it in the time it took to make the video 😭💀

What would I do? Simple, give him both options that you stated. Either trust what he’s done & finish the build or do it all yourself with him paying more. Then whichever option he feels comfortable with, pick that one

as a professional you won't risk it, at the end of the day customer satisfaction is the best achivement a professional can get .

I would play high end games in that beast

I would; consult the customer, and verify which route they’d like to proceed with. If they don’t want it checked. Risk it.

If they want it rebuilt, charge them for it & rebuild it.

Well, cpu blocks are usually very easy to take off and put back on.

I’d recommend removing the cpu water block, put on an air cooler or aio, and try to see if it posts.
GPU waterblock have some passive cooling, and it can take a little to heat up, so you can simply turn off the PSU switch the moment you see an image on screen.

Rebuild to be sure, but im inclined to believe the client did his research. Heatkiller water blocks are top of the line. Aquacomputer hubs are indeed quality and their software is way better than trash like icue or l-connect

It's rare to see a build with a Ryzen 9, most of the builds I've seen have enthusiast-class CPUs are always Intel i9, hopefully his PC will work well after you guys build it.

Ask the customer which option they prefer

Right build is best
If he is willing yo pay 10 dollar more

Just call him and ask, its easy. If he wants to use his existing blocks, just have him sign a contract saying you only guarantee the work you did and you're not liable if the parts he installed fail and cause damage.

Aqua is the best shit for looped systems fan and rgb control.

I personally run aquacomputer hardware and aquasuit has a learning curve but once you got after a few days you will not use anything else

he already had a Ryzen 9 and a 4090 what would 50-100$ do?

Ask the customer rather than making a video

I would ask him if he wants to pay more so that the build is re - built or pay less to finish it so he will know who's fault it is if something goes wrong.

I'll ask him this question and see
