Thanks for the information! So in the setup process in Shopify, we can just use the T&C and privacy statement generator officially, but for GDPR, can you provide a step by step demonstration on what to include in T&C and privacy page? I believe many people would also have the same question on how to deal with it in practical way.

But you also need to have a contract with all your sub processors on the processing of personal information (includes the right for the customer to demand the data to be deleted on all levels of the supply chain) and these sub processors will have to do the same with all of theirs! So it makes it pretty hard to ship from China, where no one is GDPR compliant (AliExpress, China Post etc..). Why isn't anyone addressing this HUGE point? This is pretty much stopping us from jumping in this market right now as we live and would operate in Europe. GDPR pretty much destroys dropshipping to Europe.. that is if you want to abide by the new draconian law.

Gdpr says it's forbidden to give personal data of europeans to outside and not trusted countries (china is not yet). So basically this means dropshipping from china to europe is illegal right now, or is the customers consent enought to do it anyway. Please anybody who got some info on this explain. Thank you 🙇

I'd guess that any site that uses advert links like Google AdSense/Analytics etc. and also sites that use "tracking pixels" and/or tracking cookies should be concerned. I'd further guess that pages with tracking pixels from sites that haven't notified people they are being used may shut down access and as a result possibly cause pages to load more slowly or become inaccessible. Kudos to the EU... ;)
