Knowledge should be shared, not isolated by money

Hey Kev, you gave me advice 2 weeks ago on the high nitrite in my tank. I stopped doing water changes for a week like you said and we're now cycled. Cheers Bruv

👍Watched your 450 tank with a stubborn Bacterial Bloom clear up after a few week's. Your spot on Kev. Your advice of leaving it alone and being patient is has worked for me when my tank had a B Bloom. Appreciate you Kev! ❤😊

After watching this video and others from your page, I’ve decided to move my critters from my 29 gallon to a temporary 20 gallon holding tank, I will be completely resetting the 29 gallon

A month ago i had the brown algae bloom going. All the glass was covered in brown growth. After i was able to get rid of the brown algae, i then had a bloom right after. I thought it was a bacterial bloom cause my water was murky. I did water changes, cleaning the gravel, and even chemicals* but then i noticed the water was slightly yellow/green. So i tried some algae fix once. After one day, my tank cleared right up. It was floating algae? But anyways, my aquarium is still clear. 🎉 love watching your vids, keep it up Kaveman!

Hallo Kev Just seen your email and looking at your video, thank you think I understand now. Was also told only 25 % water change and no more. Is the 80% for a few fish as well?

I set up a 10 gal tank for neons, let it just run for about a month with no fish and it was crystal clear. Then I added 6 neons, a catfish and an algae eater and for about a week or so it remained crystal clear, even with the feedings. But, I thought I'd add some small live plants and it got so cloudy, it looked like milk. So I took the plants out. Even with three more water changes (about two gals once a week), it's still cloudy but getting better. How did it go from crystal clear, added live plants, and it turned to milky cloudy? Every time I try plants, something goes wrong even in my 36 gal.

I do a 80% water change every week to cuz I have a big bio load in my tank so I have to keep it maintained

I’ve never have had a bacterial bloom from doing a 80% water change been doing it this way for 9 months

So if my new tank gets cloudy, i should wait for a little to see if it will clear on its own, or do i still do water changes every week?

Hey quick question kev, Ive been watching your videos on water changes, what is your recommended strategy on matching the temperature of your water when doing a water change?

so if im in the middle of a bacterial bloom should i NOT do any water changes until it resolves?

So, I had a bunch of crypts melt off and dirty my water significant because I also hadn’t realized that the filter pump was clogged and barely moving water. I cleaned the pump, did massive water change and now there’s a bacterial bloom. Tank is over a year old and heavily planted. Sigh.

Why is my water get cloudy after a water change? I have 2XFX6 filters, and I put prime as dress code. I feed my fish is every other day help me out.
