Went no contact in 2023 with both my parents and ended up in court for “grand parents visitation rights” over my 18month old daughter as retaliation (yes by my own biological parents). Case was thrown out of course due to insufficient evidence of them establishing a bond with my daughter ( they’re never around to visit, as they live another state). I am married and my husband and I both decided enough was enough. I hadn’t said a word to them after initially being served (went completely silent and just hired an attorney) and now that’s it’s been dismissed … I have kept the no contact going and changed my number as my father had the audacity to call from an unknown number ( which I immediately sent to voicemail because I know better ) …still threatening to drag me back to court after it was all said and done for telling the family about what they put me and my husband through… as if it was supposed to be some secret. Narcissism is a serious mental health disorder and I’m happy to have made it out of that hell and break the chains of abuse. Never looking back.

Mr Danish, yeah you are right, there were two major Naccisists in my life while I was growing up. I got peace after they were both dead. People may not understand when you said it's death that brings final and complete freedom from these people.

Narcissist are a sick and cowardly people. My own mother tried to turn me against my daughter, her own granddaughter. How sad they are. I've left my 3rd Narcissist partner in 20 years all up. I see the signs now but I had to go through 3 to become aware. Now I choose life and celibacy and my own spiritual destination. God took their supply after he gave them more than enough chances to reflect inward, improve and, stop finger pointing. (NPD individuals think they're a 10/10. So, they think they never have to improve).

My ex used to be a bodybuilder and suffered from a horrific injury due to his own stupidity. I wouldn't wish what he went through on my worst enemy. I kept working out and bodybuilding, and he kept getting worse. The more fit I got, the more distant he got from me, the more out of shape he got (he was recovered from his injury by this point but did not get back into fitness) and his personality just got worse and worse. He stopped telling me I was beautiful and praising me, and the more I held him accountable the more poisonous he became.

When he finally discarded me (I made it clear in no uncertain terms I was soon to end things if he didn't get his act together) I KNEW it was because he needed to be propped up on that pedestal and I wasn't giving it to him - but a bunch of his old girlfriends were even one who was about to get married. And I KNOW he resented me for how I looked, I could see it in his eyes

Death is the truth. They won't cause me trouble if im not around. I came to this conclusion as well. Death is everyone's sweet release from their abuse. Sad? Yep. Morbid? Yep. Truth? Yep. That is why I'm going NC. Create a plan and stick to it. Get free!

I saw a pic of the ex narc. First one since he left. He's fat, looks tired and so pale looking. I was happy I look and feel great since he left but also gleeful he looks so terrible as appearance was important to him.

I read somewhere that when narcissists age, they no longer have all the charm, good looks, or persuasion to have anyone “like” them or be there for them…happily that doesn’t exist for them any more! So they are left alone to flounder in their old age. No one will have anything to do with them! They have no one to take them to Doctor’s appointments or anything thing else that a person needs someone to lean on…not there for them!! 😁 I have so many narcissistic relatives in my family, (I believe it is hereditary and NOT caused by parental mistakes) and I get to watch them as they crumble with age, because all their gifts are gone, that they used to manipulate and hurt others!!
